Privacy Policy #
This policy covers every game published by Anguished Studio, plus this website. It is published by Anguished LLC, the North Carolina company behind Anguished Studio. Last updated: August 31, 2026.
The short version #
Anguished Studio games collect no data. Everything runs on your device.
Data collection #
None. The games have no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Some games use open-source runtime frameworks such as React Native or Expo to render the app; those frameworks are not used by Anguished Studio to collect, transmit, store, or share personal data.
On-device data #
Game progress and settings (best scores, unlocks, options) are stored only on your device using UserDefaults, WKWebView localStorage, or another platform-native local store. Anguished Studio cannot see this data. Deleting a game deletes its local data unless Apple restores it from your device backup.
Network use #
The games are fully playable offline. Some games may contact Apple for StoreKit purchases or Game Center, and some builds may contact their distribution provider to check for software updates. These operational requests are not used by Anguished Studio for advertising, analytics, tracking, or user profiling.
Purchases #
Some games include an optional tip jar. Tips are small one-time purchases that support the studio and unlock nothing in the game. Apple handles the entire purchase through StoreKit and the App Store. We never see your payment details, and we store nothing about what you bought.
Game Center #
Some games offer optional Apple Game Center leaderboards or achievements. If you choose to sign in to Game Center, Apple processes your scores and identity under Apple's privacy policy. We never receive or store your Game Center identity.
App Store statistics #
Apple shares aggregate, anonymous statistics (downloads, sessions, crashes) with developers through App Store Connect, and only for users who opted in to share analytics with developers. These numbers come from Apple, are controlled by your device settings, and contain nothing that identifies you.
This website #
anguishedturtle.com uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and aggregate: no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no personal profiles. The games themselves remain collection-free as described above.
Children #
Age ratings vary by title and are shown on each App Store listing. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the games collect no personal information at all.
Changes #
Any change to this policy will be posted at this address with an updated date.
